The latter actually created this magnificent piece, and he’s an art director / concept artist at his respective studio. Please accept my apologies for the confusion!]
Andrew works as an animator at Vancouver’s Rainmaker Entertainment, formerly Mainframe Entertainment, which has created “cinematics” for games like Ghostbusters, Prototype, and Assassin’s Creed 2.
Back in the day, though, Rainmaker/Mainframe also produced CGI-animated shows like ReBoot and Beast Wars – Andrew wasn’t at the company around that time, but I wanted to bring it up because I haven’t thought of ReBoot and Beast Wars in forever. Those shows were soooo tight (despite me never getting home from school in time to catch the first ten minutes of Beast Wars).
Anyway, Andrew created this great art as a tribute to his friend, Edison Yan, art director of Scribblenauts.
