Let’s listen to the Etrian Odyssey 2 remake’s music ⊟
With the launch of New Etrian Odyssey 2: Knight of Fafnir’s official Japanese website, Atlus has put out two soundtrack samples from the 3DS game. The series’ music has always been a highlight, what with legendary composer Yuzo Koshiro (Streets of Rage, Ys) on deck.
I believe one of the samples, what you hear above, is an orchestral remix from the original DS game – if this is anything like Etrian Odyssey Untold, Knights of Fafnir will feature a Classic Mode with the FM synth music many love from the series. You can also hear the soundtrack sample for the battle music here.
There’s no word yet on a Western release, but I don’t think anyone is expecting this to stay in Japan.
