Hino: Yo-kai Watch “global expansion” in 2015 ⊟
Speaking with the site Zakzak (translated by Gematsu), Level-5 president Akihiro Hino said that the company plans a “global expansion” for the Yo-kai Watch franchise in 2015.
He didn’t, however, specify that it would be the game, leading me to advise caution before you start waving your commemorative Yo-kai Watch pennants. The franchise is a large multimedia business in Japan, and the only part of it Hino mentioned specifically was toys: “We’ve already obtained approval from an overseas toy maker, saying it will ‘absolutely be a success.’”
One Level-5 franchise is already coming to the US minus game: Little Battlers Experience, which is launching on Nicktoons as an anime next week, with no sign of any of the games.
