Wow, these look a lot more detailed than I expected! Nintendo’s first line of interactive figures will feature 12 characters, each selling for $12.99 this holiday season. Wii U games like Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad, Mario Party 10, and Yoshi’s Wooly World will support the figures, as will other upcoming titles – the 3DS will eventually connect with them too using an NFC accessory or the new 3DS’s built-in support.
You can preorder all of the figures right now on Amazon. We’ve also got more photos after the break. I like how the colored lines in the Amiibo logo are the same as the ones on the *new* 3DS logo.
