I love all the creative Miiverse messages/sketches that pop up in Splatoon – the anime memes, silly parodies, and cries for help – but it brought a special joy to my heart to see kids/squids bring the Steven Universe fandom to the game. The show’s co-executive producer Ian Jones-Quartey created the one on the right. Latte/Jay sketched the Ronaldo message (via Keebykebby).
I love Steven Universe. I love Splatoon. I’m going to play a lot of Splatoon while waiting for Steven Universe to return (with a Steven Bomb!) in a couple weeks.
