I haven’t followed Skyward Sword much – and it shows in our coverage – as I wasn’t too excited about it. I’ve been playing it the past couple days, though, and it’s amazing.
Now that a copy of Super Mario 3D Land has found its way to the Tiny Cartridge offices, I don’t know which to play! It’s like Sophie’s Choice all over again: should I play the new Zelda or the new Mario? That’s what Sophie’s Choice was about, right? Video game dilemmas?
In related news, there’s a Portuguese site claiming that Eiji Aonuma, director for the Nintendo series, revealed in an interview that his team is working on a new iteration that’s “[not] a direct sequel to the Zelda titles released on DS” but one that “takes much of what has been done on previous handhelds”. Interesting if true!
