New Super Mario Bros. 2 downloadable content announced in this mini Nintendo Direct!
According to this fellow whose Twitter avatar is a man with a wedge of cheese on his head, there are three DLC packs for NSMB2’s Coin Rush mode:
- Go! Go! Gold Mario Pack. Three courses, up to 30,000 coins.
- Challenge the Record Pack A. Top worldwide scores on the NSMB2 website.
- Survival Panic Pack, for experts only.
The packs, which will be released in Japan on October 2 for ¥200 apiece ($2.58) will feature three fixed stages each, instead of random levels. The course designs are based in part on Club Nintendo survey responses. Nintendo will release additional packs at the end of October and the end of November.
