Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day
All right, this is a PS3 game. But I still wanted to point it out to you all, because I had a lot of fun watching this trailer. So this game is a conclusion to the upcoming anime film Short Peace, an anthology of four short films overseen by Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo.
Rather than create the usual movie tie-in game, Namco Bandai handed the game over to Grasshopper Manufacture (writing) and Tokyo Jungle developer Crispy’s (design), and the result is this weird-ass side-scrolling action game. And naturally, with Grasshopper involved, the artwork is by Yusuke Kozaki, who most recently made Fire Emblem Awakening look so much better than any previous FE.
