You know how you’ve always had that dream of a cat and dog bar where dogs and cats hang out sipping martinis while jazz plays in the background? And Wesley the Shih Tzu bartender pours your drink (and usually spills half of it on the counter)? And Thursdays are DJ night with DJ Scratchy Scratch? No?…
Well, for those who may just be looking for a four-legged drinking companion, not a full cat and dog bar “experience,” this weekend is the time to adopt as LA County Shelters are celebrating their 75th anniversary by offering reduced rates on adoption fees ($19.37 instead of the usual $30-$50) So, check out the adoption list and pick up a new furry friend! (Who you may or may not wish to open the most amazing bar ever with.)
