Tip: These plantains have to be ripe. I tried to make tostones (usually cooked with unriped green plantains) using Ghee and it didn’t taste right.

Our first box of #UniversalYums came yesterday. Country, #Columbia! 🇨🇴 Only 3/14 were vegan but the family enjoyed it, especially Maksim and my brother who seemed to LOVE everything to taste. Most interesting thing on there was the mayonnaise and bacon flavoured chips, which obviously i didn’t try. Some were wafers and desserts similar to what we have here in the USA. Can’t wait to see what country the next box will be. 🌎🌏🌍🌐🗺 We didn’t bother to youtube our reactions. We were too eager to eat. 😆
Will probably get 3 more subscriptions since most isn’t vegan, but the whole experience was fun.
