We’ve still got 2 and a half more days of NZMM, and we wanted to celebrate with a homage to one of New Zealand’s most musical and prolific cities: Dunedin. 

A combination of factors saw this city produce bands that initially gained popularity among students, before quickly gaining a following nationally and internationally. Since its inception at the beginning of the 80s, Flying Nun Records has been the curator for most of this bands, and became the best representative for the “Dunedin Sound”. 

Farewell Musical May, we look forward to listening to you again!
