IDW is publishing Harlan Ellison’s original teleplay for the Star Trek episode “The City on the Edge of Forever”
Harlan Ellison…he’s a sci-fi genius. He’s also a notorious asshole, but don’t hold that against him. He is finally getting a chance to share the original teleplay for “The City on the Edge of Forever”. He was never happy with the changes that were made to the teleplay when the episode was filmed. Even still, it was easily one of the best episodes of the original Star Trek series. Now, we finally get to see the story that he wanted to tell. IDW is publishing the teleplay in June 2014.
