Study shows patent trolls really are killing startups
Say you’ve got this amazing idea for a product or the next big social media website or whatever… what is going to be your biggest concern in getting off the ground? If you said getting the shit sued out of you over a bunch of bullshit, you’d be correct. According to a new study, the persistence, even if it’s dwindling, of patent troll companies is the biggest thing that scares off entrepreneurs from getting started and from venture capital investors from investing. Way to go US patent system.
