Please Help Me Visit a Dying Friend
I hate to beg, Tumblr, but I’m getting desperate.
Here’s the story.
A very dear friend of mine, Michael, was diagnosed back in March with glioblastoma multiforme in his temporal lobe. They gave him 6-9 months left to live, meaning the end of his 26-year old life is coming to a close very very soon.
Michael means the absolute world to me. We met online playing Team Fortress 2 last year and since January of this year, we’ve been chatting just about everyday. He was one of my two greatest support systems when I was having horrible MDD relapses (i.e. I previously attempted suicide and he was one of two people to care enough to ground me when I was unstable as hell).
He lives in the Boston area and I live in the D.C. area. Unfortunately I do not get enough hours at work to afford such a trip. If you could help me in any which way or form, I promise to do whatever I can to make it up to you.
