4chan’s moot finally unveils his new project, Canv.as
For a few months, moot has been talking about and raising funding for his brand new non-4chan website called Canv.as, but moot was mute on exactly what Canv.as was. Well, it’s an imageboard, only with actually page styling and with the interactivity to not only post pictures, but to collaborate, using tools embedded into the site, to create silly photoshops, add stickers, text and other junk to the pics and re-upload them.
So it’s like 4chan, minus the racism (mostly), CP and bullshit and with the capabilities of a basic online image manipulation tool and it looks nicer. It’s like 4chan lite 2.0.
Right now, Canv.as is in closed beta, and you can sign up for an invite if you go to the site, but don’t hold your breath on getting invited right now. You might just have to wait til the whole thing goes live.
