IHC DCU Online Blog Week 4: Patch dropped and so did I

Well, if you’ve been playing DCUO yesterday, we FINALLY got our patch. The long awaited much needed patch. And like all patches, there were mixed reactions. I for one…loved it. Ok, so I’m biased lol. But still, we got a new raid, a new duo, a valentines event, some much needed play changes, a broker house…AND….the very sexy, very seductive Selina Kyle aka Catwoman. Meow! So you either love it or hate it, so pick your poison and enjoy it while it lasts. Can’t wait to see what is coming down next month.

Ok, let’s talk about me me and me now!

Man, I am tired. No really…T I R E D. Why do you ask? Well I have finally done the unthinkable and what I wanted to do for the longest time. I FINALLY got my full T1 set. It only took about around 2 weeks of solid farming for my marks, but shit man, does it look so awesome! I mean just look at the pic. I am one cool villain. So ever since the other day, I have just been hanging around finally able to relax and can now concentrate on the next phase of my master evil plan. Well that and totally stopped being lazy and got the last 8 bars on my sorcerer and specced her as damage (thank Deadalus). But yeah, it’s been a very eventful week and looking forward to running some other chars to see what the others have to offer.

And the league just keeps going, and going, and going….

God damn! And I mean. You will NOT believe what we accomplished. Give up. I knew you would, so let me just say. This past 3 day weekend, we recruited are 300th member into the league. WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! Talk about a great accomplishment. I mean 300 people…I couldn’t even imagine it getting as big of a membership as that. You want to know something else, all the other leagues are jealous. Jealous of Iheartchaos. Yeah that’s right, talking to you all. Because we are the biggest, most popular, and coolest league on Zero Hour. So eat it, chumps and way to go members, let’s keep those invites coming in!

Anyways, enough about that, let’s get into some good stuff…

Now, as the league is busy growing and bringing in new members, we are still running stuff around the clock. With the new patch that came out, we’ve started to put together PvP teams in hopes of going to the world pvp events such as Ring War and the Diamond Heist. I think this weekend we’ll have some sort of thing organized since people are still working on their gear.

Aside from that, we are well on our way to getting everyone geared up for raids. Just in time. It looks like a lot of members are going for their full T1 set because it is the easiest to get…gotta love those grinds. But the reward is so well worth it and the suits look so fucking cool!

Let’s see what else…oh yeah…RAIDING!!!!

Holy bat shit…check this out. Remember how the last time I mentioned that we went into the Outer Caves and we got our asses handed to us? Well not this past weekend. IHC turned the RCP and the Bat Sentinels into so good scrap metal! *Does happy dance* Yeah it feels good to kick some ass in there. I know everyone thinks Batman is cool, but damn him…damn him to hell. The trash in that place is ludicrous, seriously ludicrous. But once we got to the boss, we took care of business, like we always do. But alas, the last boss fight in that room is a bitch. We had to face the Bat Family. Yeah that’s right, Huntress, Batwoman, Nightwing, and Robin. Ugh…what pains in the ass they are. The first time we went in there we had a somewhat plan, but kept wiping. After that, we revised it several times until we had a nice system. That didn’t work either. But now, now that we figured out what we can do differently, we’ll take them down this weekend. And boy…I can’t wait to do that!

Speaking of new raid things, like I said before, we got a new wing added this patch. The Inner Sanctum….oooooooooo, aaaahhhhhh. From what I hear, we’ll be fighting Brother Eye and I am HIGHLY looking forward to that fight because judging from what I’ve read and seen, we will be on our “toes”….literally. Hehe.

Anyways, we might also give Khandaq a shot because I think we are well geared enough to put a major dent in that place and then we’ll go through it with ease. So bring it on, bitches!

So Crew, now that you hit your mark…what’s next for the league?

Oh man, what can I say? We have so many things planned it is just sickening. This past week I held a league meeting and went over are overall plans for world domination and exposure.

In the coming weeks and months, we are going to be outputting a lot of new videos including raid walkthroughs, commentaries with duos partners, a very funny recruitment video, and my favorite…a weekly or biweekly podcast! God Damn I am excited! Yes folks, that’s right, we are going to put the IHC name out there for EVERYONE to know who the fuck we are and what this site holds. I’ve started the ground running with these ideas and now that they are coming to light, I can’t wait to see them completed.

The podcast is what I think is going to be the coolest thing, because we are going to have a very special guest as the first one. No, it’s not me lol. So stay tuned.

IHC about to take on the OMAC Bat Family

Aside from the video and audio projects, I’ve been working with zaraki (one of my officers) in getting our league website pretty much finished, which it is! So now the folks in IHeartChaos now have a place to hang out outside of the game. Oh oh oh, this is the best part. One of our members took it upon himself (thanks Mari Ganja) to make us our own personal graphic to show everyone who we are. And just LOOK at what we got!

CBZ you would be proud :)

That is fucking sweet, isn’t it? Now I don’t know much about graphic design, but I know what I like.

Now it’s time for me to rest….

It’s hard work being this busy, keeping up with content and the such, I don’t know how CBZ does it, but man…props to you. I had to start giving people some things to do. Guess that’s cool and helpful at the same time. We have a bunch of great people in our league and we are getting better, bigger, faster, and stronger. We WILL dominate the ZH server, our server, then the WORLD! So this is just my little way of saying thanks for all of the IHC family for their interest and our members, you guys are kicking ass!
