Heroes star Masi Oka is developing a show for SyFy

In my opinion, Masi Oka was the best thing about Heroes. Even when the show started its long swirling vortex of suck, Masi Oka playing Hiro was still my reason to keep going, even though it was his storyline that became one of the most convoluted and stupid. But Oka isn’t normally an actor… before Heroes, he was more of a special effects person and writer, so it’s fitting that he’s now writing a show for SyFy called “The Correctors”.

The Correctors follows two agents of the Exceptions Bureau who are dispatched to a parallel universe where they inhabit the bodies of their identical selves in order to stop events from occurring. The time-travel elements and changing the course of history were key in the plot of NBC’s now-defunct Heroes, where Oka played a Hiro Nakamura, who could bend the space-time continuum.

So it’s sort of like The Adjustment Bureau meets Fringe? Sounds interesting.
