Disney and Marvel announce Captain America 2 for April 2014
With The Avengers hitting theaters next month, Disney and Marvel announced a solid release date for a sequel to Captain America. Captain America 2 will hit theaters April 14, 2014 and will be set in present day, continuing the story from The Avengers.
The Walt Disney Studios has announced a release date for Marvel Studios’ sequel to the blockbuster Captain America: The First Avenger on April 4, 2014. The second installment will pick-up where the highly anticipated Marvel’s The Avengers (May 4, 2012) leaves off, as Steve Rogers continues his affiliation with Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D and struggles to embrace his role in the modern world.
Also on their 2014 schedule is an untitled movie coming out on May 16, 2014… Avengers 2 possibly? Could Marvel get the movie rights to Spider-Man back by then to put him in Avengers 2? Hmmm?
