That’s actually not a bad idea. That never occurred to me, probably because it’s traditionally the father’s (or a close male’s) job. Even so, when my sister got married, I walked her down the aisle, but Mom gave her away. (Our father isn’t in the picture.) So I should’ve thought of that. :p
