For those of you still following, just a quick update on the blog situation:
I am copy-pasting 290 reviews all week, because there is no backup system for Tumblr and I don’t know what I would do if I lost all of that writing (I can’t believe I actually never bothered to save it somewhere else in case this blog did go kaput - a notion that is giving me a mild heart attack right now). Since there is no immediate issue with regards to deletion (given that this whole thing was apparently a snafu on Tumblr’s part), I will remain here (if you’ll still have me!) but I am still going to be formally moving my reviews over to a permanent, personal website (because as much as I’m all about YOLO, I don’t think I could live with, as mentioned, 290 reviews disappearing in the event of Tumblr’s demise).
So, the good news: I’m still here! Yay! The bad news: you’re going to have to put up with me for a little longer! I’ll post the URL of the new site when I have it up. I’m still working on the design. Thanks for all of your messages of encouragement during that little meltdown. They were really nice to read. I will save them in my inbox because I’m egotistical like that. And also so I have proof that at one point in time people enjoyed my writing on the internets.
