I am Ray Underwood. I am a 50 year old architect living in Cataula Georgia. Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was very young.

My photography is mostly about capturing place and time. This site is my attempt to capture "the south" as it is today.

Bird house, Marion County, Georgia

Ok, I know that it is not really a “place” or a “building” but to me it screams of southern ingenuity. The rough sawn boards, the rusty bent nails and the license plate shingles (John Deere) all give it southern character.
