This is your regular reminder that a person talking about a film or TV adaptation who has not read the comic it is based on is not automatically asking to be ‘educated’ on it.

If they want that they will ask. A bazillion unasked for links or long explanations are not 'kind’ or 'helpful’.

I’m quite happy not knowing the comics. That’s why I haven’t read them.
