This just happened in Davis Square station: this cop was following a black kid and when the kid (who did nothing), asked him why, he said “what, are you gonna say ‘hands up don’t shoot’?”

As someone from Michigan, I was always disheartened by the less than genuine “liberal” tone of Boston. I encountered so many outspoken Northern racists. Same region that gave us Charles Stuart, a black Harvard professor being harassed for being locked out of his house, and a bussing protestor getting a flagpole shoved in his face.
