The contentment of your emotions,

The sly silence the follows your smile,

The comforting tone of your voice,

When you are half comforting me,

And half telling yourself that it’s true,

That we are in love,

And that fear does not exist between you and me,

And neither does doubt,

I listen,

And I let go,

Of every voice inside my head,

And let go of more pain inside my chest,
