Important news for soap fans: Mr. Fergie Josh Duhamel has agreed to reprise his role as con artist Leo du Pres on All My Children, ABC’s soon-to-be-shuttered soap opera. Duhamel’s episode(s?) will air in August. De Pres supposedly died in 2003 when trying to save Greenlee (Rebecca Budig) in a waterfall accident. His body, of course, was never found.

Now that Duhamel is in again, do you think that other AMC alumni like Sarah Michelle Gellar, Christian Slater, Kelly Ripa, and Kim Delaney might show up again?

Michael Jackson’s posthumous Michael album hitting stores next month, one of the King of Pop’s biggest fans, producer and Black Eyed Peas front man Will.i.am, hasn’t even heard the much-talked-about new song “Breaking News.” He’s not really interested in it, either. “Whoever put it out and is profiting off of it, I want to see how cold they are,” he says, “to say that what [Michael] contributed during his life wasn’t enough. He just wasn’t any ordinary artist. He was a hands-on person. To me it’s disrespectful. There’s no honoring.”

Major executive shake-up at ABC: Entertainment chief Paul Lee has stepped down from his post after six years.

Lee has been replaced by ABC’s vice president of drama development, Channing Dungey, who is the first African-American to ever lead the entertainment division of a major broadcast network.

Let’s just say, for sake of argument, that the Black Eyed Peas, Ke$ha, and any band that caters exclusively to children are exempt. Broadway lyrics, however, should count, since Tim Rice has been responsible for some real doozies. For example:
