In all the Hunger Games hullabaloo, we forgot to tell you that Michelle Williams is in talks to play the good witch in Disney’s Wizard of Oz prequel, Oz, The Great and Powerful. If she takes the part, she’ll join two other stunning non-hags—Rachel Weisz and Mila Kunis—who will play sister witches destined for evil, as well as James Franco as the wizard-to-be.

Get ready for Danielle Paige’s radical re-imagining of L. Frank Baum’s fantasy universe, which HarperCollins is calling “The Wizard of Oz meets Kill Bill.“ The plot:
A twister rips through Kansas and transports Amy Gumm — most likely inspired by Judy Garland’s birth name Frances Gumm — into Oz, which has been transformed under Dorothy’s tyrannical misrule. Amy must steal the Scarecrow’s brain, remove the Tin Woodman’s heart, take the Lion’s courage, and ultimately — destroy Dorothy.

And then that moment that you hear or see in movies where like your heart skips a beat and it happened with Ashton, and I was like, ‘Stop it!’… It was the weirdest thing. I was like, ‘This isn’t really happening.’”
