I can get on tumblr on my iPod, but if I try to login on my computer, it takes me right back to the login page. It’s been doing this for two days, even after several restarts, and now tumblr mobile demands my password every time I open it. I’m on my iPod now but I prefer to post things on my computer. Can anybody help??

Well, he’s technically not a pet at all, and technically not mine, and not on tumblr (at the moment) so it’s not really answering the question. But since I assume we all love snakes some people might be interested to know about him anyway.
I volunteer at a wildlife rehab center in California, and we have a non-releasable education gopher snake named Lazarus, who came to the center back in the 80s as a full grown adult, after his head was intentionally run over by a kid on a bike. He managed to survive, despite everything, he suffered a broken jaw that healed, though it created some problems for him when unhinging his jaw to feed, but the biggest reason we have him and he can’t be released is he suffered brain damage and now flips upside down frequently, casually slithers backwards around his enclosure, and strikes his food in the opposite direction of where it is and needs a lot of help eating as a result.
But anyway, my point is, Lazarus was a full grown adult around 30 years ago, which makes him over 30 years old, possibly nearly 40 at this point, and I have been trying to find an older snake in the world period and haven’t found much, I think there’s a 36 year old gopher snake on record somewhere. Anyway gopher snakes have an average live expectancy of 15 so he’s twice as old as the average gopher snake. Which is pretty cool, so, NOT really an answer to the question, but Laz is a precious and super sweet and quirky snoot that deserves to be known about.
My own ball python, Alistair, is still just over a year, so, I don’t know about the oldest snake on tumblr or within the tumblr community haha.

He is amazing although this looks a lot like a wobble, I’m wondering if getting hit did any neuro damage
He has a lot of odd habits and behaviors, while we’ve had no absolute confirmation of neurological issues, such as x-rays or anything of the sort, his behavior seems to suggest it. He does have quite a few issues when eating that at the very least tell us he would have a very tough time surviving in the wild, which is why he lives at the center.
He gets to go to schools to educate the local kids on how important snakes are and how people should never treat them the way Laz was treated. It’s particularly nice when kids tell us they’re afraid of snake, but after hearing about Laz and seeing him, want to get closer and see him better and know more about him. We have other educational animals, and they’re all amazing and important, but I like hearing kids tell me Lazarus was their favorite animal to see and learn about, haha.

Well enough of that love life, how about mine? Well let me tell ya its going great, I love my girlfriend and everyone thinks were perfect for each other. Tomorrow is our first date aniversary and im actually off. It marks 11 months from that day, last time i saw my baby she was wearing the same outfit she wore on the first date, an incredible compination of sexiness, beauty, and cuteness that drove me crazy all day and night =) I love you babe I really do

I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THIS POST NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT BUT I’VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THIS SINCE LAST NIGHT AND THEN I PROMISE I’LL MOVE ON TO THE NEXT EPISODE.
So I’e been thinking about Mamoru’s bike since last night–I don’t have EVEN REMOTELY NEAR the knowledge about motorcycles as I do cars,so I was pretty much clawing in the dark thinking about it–and I finally found it.
Mamoru is driving was is likely a 2001-2002ish Honda Shadow Slasher:
Finding info on this was a tiny bit difficult because it was a domestic release only. (It was released as the Shadow Spirit in the US and Canada). But some fun facts about this bike which I think can only bring delight to the knowledge of Mamoru Chiba:
It’s an expensive ass bike. Part of this is that it was designed to invoke the American styles of Harley and Indian, and so that gave it some cachet in the domestic market, versus like what Haruka drives, that’s very much a little Japanese nyoom nyoom. It’s built for speed and not for comfort, while this is more of a luxury bike–it was sold, in the high end version (which this is not, more on that later, but I couldn’t find release prices for this model) for about $70,000 equivalent.
For contrast, you can buy a brand new Kawasaki Ninja off the line for $5,500 if your wife is not oppressive and will let you. That’s a cheap bike I’m contrasting it with, but, for contrast. A BMW 1600GT, which is MINDFUCKINGLY FAST, is about $30,000 to go buy one new TODAY.
So Mamoru’s a rich kid. Not that we haven’t had it subtly confirmed in other ways, but it’s OBVIOUSLY more than “My parents had this super nice apartment” because he had a ton of free yen floating around to buy this bike. PGSM came out in what, 2003? So this is, at the time, a brand new fucking bike.
Part two: This is the 400cc model. Honda also released a 750cc model. (Holligay, how do you know that this is the 400cc? Because the 750 only came in black) So Mamoru not only bought a very expensive bike, but he bought the slow version of that very expensive bike.
Again, for comparison, that cheap little Kawasaki Ninja I posted about above, has 300cc. AND WEIGHS 100 POUNDS LESS DRY WEIGHT. So while I can’t find top speed specs on the Shadow Slasher, I would think they have comparable top speeds.
What I’m saying is Mamoru is a rich kid in it to Look Cool. And while I truly believe the creators of this show are truly to also say “Mamoru is v cool” I take heart in knowing that Mamoru would pull up in that and Haruka would just be like “oh…haha, yeah I see what they were saying about you being into motorcycles”
