Sigh. London stubbled about today without it’s tube running as normal. These tube strikes leave me conflicted. On the one hand why should I stop a bunch of people demanding more money - i would if I could. On the other hand there’s a real feeling that none of them deserve any more than they’re getting. Generally tube employees at the front line seem rather arbitrary. Mostly they’re the idiots standing in my way as I try to exit at rush hour. I just don’t see why they should get any more money for doing mostly nothing. 

I suspect I’m mostly annoyed at how much effect they seem to have - why does the tube management constantly give in to this posturing. And London slows a bit but basically people get about with just some delay.
