Festival of the Future City: Would you ride a bicycle across Europe’s second longest bridge?

Copenhagen, the second most bike-friendly city in the world, and Malmö are considering the feasibility of an elevated cycleway over the Øresund.

The plan would be costly, but a substantial amount of funding could come from the profits of the tolls from the Øresund Bridge.

The Festival of the Future City takes place 18-20 November 2015. It is a key part of Bristol 2015 – when the city is European Green Capital. The festival is supported by Arts Council England, Bristol City Council, Future Cities Catapult, University of the West of England, Business West. Further details will be released in spring 2015.
