Easter in Buffalo, New York

Marion Faller is a photographer. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree at University at Buffalo after completing the Program in Photographic Studies at the Visual Arts Workshop in Rochester, New York. Her Bachelor of Arts degree was earned at Hunter College in New York City. She has taught at University at Buffalo, Colgate University, Marymount Manhattan College, and Hunter College. Faller has exhibited widely and her work is included in many collections throughout the United States including the Addison Gallery of American Art (Andover MA), Albright-Knox Art Gallery (Buffalo NY), Burchfield Penney Art Center (Buffalo NY) and International Museum of Photography (Rochester NY). She has received fellowships from NY Foundation for the Arts, CEPA Gallery and Light Work. Faller has had numerous exhibitions, including solo shows at Pyramid Arts Center, Fenimore Art Museum and Menschel Photography Gallery. Selected group exhibits include Visions of Passage: Photographers, Writers & the American Scene (Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego), Home is Where the Heart Is (Center for Photography at Woodstock) and Holidays & Festivals in America (Balch Institute for Ethnic Studies, Philadelphia).
