ARLENE FELIPE

Hi, There! I'm an artist / designer working in concept design and development. I enjoy discovering and creating unexpected (yet, accessible) ways to tell a story -- via puppetry, design, animation, and performance. I grew up in the US, in Goose Creek, South Carolina, and look forward to collaborating with like-minded individuals at home and abroad.

Find me on...

Painting over this 28’ x 32’ drop with the boys this weekend, for a production of “Annie” that’s going up in Missouri…

I have to say, scenic painting is one of my dream sidejobs, along with: Philanthropist, Shop Owner, Puppeteer, Spoleto Director, Food Critic or Television Food Critic (for the Fabulous Food, People, Hair, Makeup, and Wardrobe), Costume/Involvement for good TV/Film, Makeover instigator, Ambassador/Peace Corps, World traveler, and probably some other professions I’m not aware of yet, that truly exist. One thing at a time, right? :) How about you.

Also, I have come to the realization that February is going to slay me – in a good and terrifying way. There are workshops, five presentations in the works, New York City, Louisville, and Milwaukee coming up. So I thought I’d send well-wishes and strong focus to everyone working hard out there – people hoping to do well for themselves, others, and our futures, too. See you on the other side (of our wins.. :) ). Good luck!
