Mary Katrantzou x Adidas Collection
Following a string of out-of-the-box designer partnerships with Jeremy Scott, Yohji Yamamoto and Rick Owens, Adidas tapped Mary Katrantzou for their next Adidas Originals capsule collection. And, these creations definitely take the ‘athletic chic’ trend to a whole new caliber.
Known for her psychedelic, technicolor photographic printed garments – Katrantzou’s line of apparel and footwear is emblazoned with a unique sport-inspired rendition of her signature designs. Moreover, Katrantzou reworked Adidas’ iconic aesthetic with gold hardware on a neon pink, yellow, and blue sneaker. However her sneaker designs are barely scratching the surface of this collection’s excitement, which also incudes skintight zip-up dresses, neoprene pullovers and printed mesh plastered with artistic patterns. The Mary Katrantzou x Adidas collaborative collection will be available in stores on Nov. 15.
