This is super interesting, and definitely plays into why I thought CA:TWS was the best Marvel film to date. Avengers was fun, and the Jossian thing of having the heroic woman use her victimized sexuality for power was neat, but it’s less ground-breaking than it used to be. It’s time to have women on screen whose sexuality is not up for ownership at all, and CA:TWS’s Natasha was that.
