Meme’s are famous and have been around for so many years, even before internet was introduced. Basically, meme is an idea that spreads from one person to so many. The reason why internet memes are so famous is because it is very simple and easy to spread a meme from one person to other person. This permits memes to spread like wildfire all over the globe.

Internet memes not only create some funny media, but are also an active and effective way to advertise an obscure or unknown product. Companies have used memes to market, advertise and promote themselves, making their brand famous and well known over the internet just by word of mouth.

Mostly, people like to get great and handsome money from these memes for themselves. In few cases, they can even earn a big profit on them. From a meme earning money should not be the target or goal. The objective or goal is to poke excitement and fun at something and to share it online with others.

Creating Your Own Meme from Scratch

There are some things you require or need to create your own meme, without the use of a website:

• A graphics editor program, such as Photoshop, MS Paint, Gimp etc.
• The font “Impact”, which is almost already on most of computers.
• The skill to change or alter the font to have white text with an outline of black color. In programs such as Photoshop a stroke effect should also be used.
• Once the text is added, post the meme somewhere on the internet.

Video memes need much more, depending on what you need to do. You may want or desire to use your own software, equipment, etc. Or to do it for you have someone else.
