Deathstroke #2 (Higgins & Bennett):
Looking for a down to the point, action book? Then this is the book for you. Within pages Deathstroke has decapitated, maimed, and skewered more than 15 people! Wade Wilson is coming back and with a vengeance. He has been seen in the past issue as a washed up, old bounty hunter trying to redeem his status and, well, he gets the job done in this issue. A very basic beat ‘em up book, Deathstroke gives the action you would expect from it.
Though there are some great fight sequences that come from this book and artist Joe Bennet, the plot is quite dense. What more can you say about your world’s number 1 killer but that he can kill. Not sure whether I can expect something richer from this book but it is nice to see Deathstroke have his own ongoing again.
