Apparently some kind of lotion me or my mom wears is “acting like a solvent” and causing the paint job on the mantle to become tacky, and peel off. Never mind the fact that dad wears lotion too, maybe not as much, but his brands have more alcohol in them than moms’ and mine combined. IDK about you guys, but last time I checked, humans secrete natural oils from their body too. So either I gotta stop using lotion to keep my skin soft and supple, switch brands to something without the offending ingredient that Idek could be at this point, or I gotta stop being human and stop secreting natural skin oils.
OR
Y'know, maybe the house is just old, and it could be the humidity and heat too.
*sigh* Time to look up potential lotions that can react with house paint I suppose. Because guilty until proven innocent with science as usual.
Do we really have to take this?
A friend of mine was moving from her apartment. She asked me to look after some of her things. I agreed and not too long after she asked if her daughter Frances can come pick it up. I agreed and she came over with her boyfriend, who was also the father of her baby. I helped them carry the stuff down to the car, and during the whole visit exchanged possibly 10 words.
Next day I received these texts. I had to created a fiancee I didn’t really have in order for him to stop.
I never told my friend what her daughter’s boyfriend did. Now they are expecting a second child, so as you all see, there was no break up.
So Do we women really have to take this kind of attitude?
Do we have to invent things and people in order to be left alone.
I don’t want to have my titties banged.
I am not an easy lay.
I don’t deserve this.
Why do I go from being called “cute” “smart” and “pretty” in the beginning of the conversation, to “fatty” “bitch” and “ugly” in the end?

All things considered, we’re doing as okay as we can be. Our Developer Team is working on a our next site update and squashing bugs. From a social media standpoint we’re encouraging people to follow us over on Bluesky.
As we stated in our previous funding update your support has helped us remain online until August. In case you are curious, here are our current statistics:
March Funding Update - 55%
We’ve had a couple questions regarding what funding means after 2023 End of Year Fundraiser and yes, each month we are able to hit at least 100% of our funding goal extends our site’s life by a month. The End of Year Fundraiser gave us enough funding to remain online until at least July 2024 if we did not meet any funding goals. Your support has already extended our life until August 2024 which is incredible given how dire things were at the end of last year.
For example, if we are able to at least meet 100% of our $5,000 goal in March we would have enough funding until September.
We hope this answers any lingering questions on that.
