Am I ready for a pet?
As much as you may love animals looking after one is not exactly the same. In this case we look on the animals’ side and its wellbeing. No matter how big or small the creature you have to realise that it is a living organism and that there are no second chances with life. Firstly, are you willing to take on this responsibility? Count every responsibility needed to take care of your pet, also listing the ones which involve you making sacrifices. With taking care of an animal you must treat it carefully, make it feel safe and be its friend. Also you have to be pretty responsible yourself because if you cannot take care of yourself than how can you be responsible for an animal? Anyway, my point is if you are not up for the responsibility then you are not really up for having a pet.
After debating whether or not to have a pet one may struggle to choose the right pet for the family/couple/person. Sometimes it is easy and other times hard, I first propose that you look at the circumstances of the dog, your family and your house. Make a decision of whether you are able to look after a big or small dog. Then perhaps choose the type of pet that suits your family, you may be strong headed about the animal you want but sometimes there can be a disagreement. To solve which pet to have when there is party of two, I think you should either vote or talk about it or decide whether if you would rather not have a pet.
Sometimes looking after a pet can have its challenges, expensive or not. With a pet you have to think about its essentials, now are you sure you can provide that? Food and water, toys, a nice home, and maybe regular check-ups to the vet. At the moment if you are not able to buys these things, I would wait, but then again it is your choice. Also remember that having a pet may take up a lot of your time, from walks to training sessions, so make sure you are able to give time to your pet.
Here are a few sites in which I recommend you buy/adopt a pet from:

I hope these websites can help or inspire you. I was inspired to write this article due to my love for animals.
Whether you are getting a pet now or in the future have fun and good luck.
