The film camera also never objectifies Clarice. Throughout the film she is presented as an object of the male gaze by the characters in the narrative, but the camera does not assume this perspective of the male look until the end of the film. It’s at this point then that Clarice punishes and banishes the male gaze for objectifying her. [x]

Actually, I’d back this as a transportation option for most kids.
Beth is a very interesting cat: she’s the kind of cool that reminds you of a teenage Jodie Foster (in possibly every film she did in the 70’s). All tomboy swagger, cheeky wit and a glint in her eye. You know, that girl you used to want to be, or at least imagine yourself as equally spunky if called upon. Perhaps that’s why she plays the part of ‘Parker’ so well on “Leverage” – she brings a little of herself to the role.
This interview is not bad at all. NSFW site, since it’s about “Real girls in their own place. Not too crazy and just a pinch of naughty…” (which seems like marketing-speak for “these girls are just as naked as those other girls, but you can feel good about us and not those other sites”), but worth a read if you dig Riesgraf.
