Together with some good friends, I visited the Nose2tail diner in central Copenhagen this weekend. Rumor had it that they know how to make a great burger!
Being in Denmark, that didn’t raise my level of expectation, as it’s extremely hard to get a good burger here. And there were actually multiple good elements to this particular burger: Homemade bread, a perfectedly cooked (pink!) beef patty, and some very good tasting soft grilled onions.
However, in the end the composition let it down. A well selected mustard, perhaps a little ketchup, and generally some basic seasoning could’ve raised this to the next grade, but in the end Nose2tail pan out with an average bland 3 out of 5 grade - as most of the burgers in this country.
