New York Autumn - Central Park - Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir

Autumn brushes itself across Central Park with the most beautiful brushstrokes every year. Continuing my exploration of things to do in New York City that involve getting lost in New York City’s outdoor landscapes, I found a listing on Sōsh, an app that focuses on things to do in New York City, that referenced taking a “love-inducing walk in Central Park” *. How could I possibly resist?

Autumn is quite possibly one of my favorite times of year in New York City and hiking through Central Park’s 800+ acres of natural paths and landscapes is such a perfect way to fall madly in love with the city.

This part of Central Park is adjacent to the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. The vantage point is from one of Central Park’s bridle paths which I photograph a lot in the spring. I love this view of the reservoir in the autumn though since the trees frame the towers of The San Remo.
