Aussie David Raines scores Emmy nomination for Fargo
Australian born Sound Re-recording mixer David Raines has received an Emmy Award nomination for his work on the crime drama Fargo.
Fargo is inspired by the 1996 film of the same name and is written and directed by the Coen brothers.
This is Raines 3rd Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Sound Mixing, he has previously received two Emmy nominations for the action series Burn Notice.
Raines transitioned to the team lead position of dialogue and music re-recording mixer after Burn Notice and this is his first Emmy Award nomination as senior mixer.
Raines has also received a Cinema Audio Society Sound Mixing Award nomination for the independent feature film Calvin Marshall.
The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards will air on August 25 in the US, with the Creative Arts awards announced on August 16.
