Zola Jesus - Dangerous Days
I guess it should come as little surprise that after recent collaborations with artists like M83, that Zola Jesus might find her way to a more upbeat, dance/pop sound. I love her voice, but have to admit I prefer the darker weirder side of her output. I expect the rest of the album (out October 7th on her new label, Mute Records) probably follows along these lines in an attempt to cultivate a broader fan base. Here’s hoping that she keeps it interesting!
