Casual #tyylit-inspiration - shorts for him and her

Wrote last week about “shorts for summer” and the same text is now actually also available in Finnish @tyylit.fi. 

Recently also got a question“in really hot weather, what is your go to casual outfit?" and decided to put it in form of a collage for some casual summer inspiration, this time for both him and her.

To put it shortly, one of my go-to-outfits during summer is definitely light-colored denim and a basic white t-shirt (or a button-up, sleeves rolled-up) together with some suede driving mocs. But in case it gets really hot I prefer to wear shorts (in white or beige color) featuring a light blue or white button-up and some sneakers, superga, new balance or buttero as pictured (without socks of course).

As mentioned earlier, some people don’t like the idea of wearing shorts and a cardigan (or a jacket or a long-sleeved sweater) together but personally I’m in favor of this combination (as seen here as well). If it comes too hot, you can always put the sweater in your bag but when you have it with you it’s easy to put on in case you’re sitting on a terrace or it gets windy outside.

And it’s probably already a fact all you guys know, but just as a reminder - leave the denim shorts for girls, they can pull them off better.
