This unfairly overlooked action flick is a gory, ultra violent, and highly entertaining adaptation of the British comic book series. Karl Urban delivers a gruff, straightforward performance as an all powerful cop/judge in a dystopian future. Cape Town serves as an appropriately bleak yet futuristic Mega-City One. Two judges enter a villain filled building and go from level to level, allowing for some pretty thrilling video game like action.
