Things are not what the seem as Soderbergh crafts an eerie, captivating, psychological thriller. Scott Z. Burns’ script about depression, prescription drugs, greed, and paranoia takes a sharp turn. This slow burn drama morphs into a sexy detective driven story with shades of Hitchcock and 1990s gender politics.
