The mumblecore filmmaker latest comedy is a true to life, engaging relationship comedy about work life bleeding into romantic life. Jake Johnson and Olivia Wilde play coworkers at a craft brewery with an unusually close connection as do their significant others Anna Kendrick and Ron Livingston. The film goes to unexpected but intriguing places despite being “aggressively inconsequential”. The natural comedy and drama comes from interesting places with uniformly strong performances from its ensemble cast.
