1. workout, 3.29.2014

    Woke up sore and stiff – going to IPA last night and shooting tequila probably wasn’t the best course of action for recovering from 14.5. Have nothing really planned other than domestic things like laundry and dishes, so I decided to start the dishwasher and go down to the gym.

    A: 5 rounds

    • 10 deadlifts (135#)
    • 30 seconds rest
    • 5 pull ups
    • 30 seconds rest
    • 5 ring rows 
    • 3 minutes rest

    Decided to go with this because I need to work on my deadlifts (which I rarely do), and because thrusters are basically a combo of push motions, and I figured pulling would be a good way to get some blood flowing without taxing what got worked over in 14.5. Still very sore, especially my quads, but hopefully an easy bike ride to Furman this afternoon will help ease that out.
