Just a little jam testing out a patch I programmed for my Roland JX-8P. I called the patch ICE SHIMMR–lots of resonance and icy upper harmonics, thanks to a bit of oscillator sync. I’ll probably put this to use in something else, but for now I just wanted to see how it would work. Programmed a simple drumbeat on the Volca Beats and pounded out some dark wave stuff.
No external effects in this at all–just the onboard chorus from the JX-8P, which is in “blinking light” Unison mode, for maximum fatness.
