Nurarihyon no Mago, or as in the English translation: ”Nura: Rise of the Yokai clan” is one of the best anime and manga series I have ever read and watched, placing itself among the TOP2 manga fandoms on my list. This ”Top 10- series why I like…” of mine began purely when I felt that I must make this more known amongst the people.
As taken from the back of the English translation: ” While the day belongs to humans, night belings to yokai, supernatural creatures that thrive on human fear. Caught beetween these worlds is Rikuo Nura. He’s three-quaters human, but his grandfather is none other than Nurarihyon, the supreme commander of the Nura clan, a powerful yokai consortium. So, Rikuo is an ordinary teenager three quaters of the tim, until his yokai blood awakens. Then Rikuo transforms into the future leader pf the Nura clan, leading a hundred demons.”
