Kensei, winner of the 2009 Dwyer and Jim Dandy Stakes, has been euthanized. The horse broke his right front cannon bone during a routine gallop at Belmont’s training track. A half brother to Lookin At Lucky, he won the Salvator Mile (III) and placed second twice in his three 2011 starts.
